It would be pointless to sack him

and suggesting it after three games is ludicrous. He isn't responsible for what he inherited and considering our last three results - which were probably expected - did anyone honestly expect him to start getting results immediately?

Plus, if we sack him, who replaces him? This club needs some form of stability urgently and a bit of fire-fighting needs to be done. Roeder now hows to deal with clubs in crisis, so he is more than capable of turning things around. It was hardly much of a surprise when he said yesterday that Norwich City is his hardest challenge in football so far. Although, I do find it ironic coming from someone who had to work with Freddy Sheppard.

The club is in chaos and things won't change overnight.
