I am ready to be shot down in flames here but
does anyone else think that it might be an idea to go for a more solid 4 4 2 with a bit of creativity in the centre of midfield rather than out wide?
Because for all the promise that Huckerby, Croft and Chadwick show on paper, the flanks seem to be our weaknesses not our strengths.
For example, usual back for with a reasonable alternative to Lappin at left back.
Midfield, Russell Brellier Spillane Lappin
Cureton and A.N Other (Dion if poss) up top
Its only an idea.
