Well....

....batteries are much more efficient these days. I have a PDA (foon with a big screen and Windows on it). I use it for making and receiving calls, sending and receiving SMS, surfing the web (e.g. BBC news site), email when on the move, playing moosic (well used to anyway) and TomTom.

If I do not turn on the WiFi capability then I have to charge it once a week on average.
