I highly recommend that when you finish that, you get her second book, which is a compilation of short stories, the name of which escapes me. "The Ladies Of Somethingorother"

Topically, in one of those short stories she borrows a setting from a book by Neil Gaiman called Stardust, which has just been made into a big Hollywood kids filum.
