It's strange

There's so much parity in the NFL, with all sorts of teams able to win, that you'd figure the Phins would have to get it right at some point. But you seem to have been stuck at Groundhog Day ever since Shula retired; and when Jimmy Johnson couldn't take you any further either, that's when I started to wonder if anyone ever would.

(My abiding memory of JJ's time in charge: winning in Seattle, so getting everyone's hopes up, then an absolute humiliation in Jacksonville in what was Marino and Johnson's last game. That's another thing about Miami: play away from home in the play-offs, and they seem to be slaughtered by all-comers).
