January is the coldest and often the wettest month in Dubai. But that's relative to the weather in other months (obviously) Expect a max of about 25C daytime and a min of 8/10C at night. Most days will be sunny and pleasant often after a foggy start. If it rains it will come down in stair rods, often accompanied by spectacular thunder and lightening (when it rains the temperature usually plummets).
That said, it may not rain at all. Some years there's none and others it rains on and off foe a couple of weeks. However, it never rains in the pubs.
