In jest I may have suggested below that the Scum's man of the match

was the FA - recognised incompetent referee Rob "Silvikrin" Styles. That is of course silly - despite Styles's two assists the scum's best player was their goalie. So, naturally, their man of the match was Mr A. Woolmer of Northants. That's the "referee" who INEXPLICABLY didn't send off Alexander last week - thus gifting them 3 points against Wolves, and a further one today.

Perhaps Mr Sheepshanks should have a word with his mates at the League to try and sort out some proper referees for their games. Or perhaps he already did?

On second thoughts it might be worth having a word with poor simple Jim and ask him why, with all that help from refs, they're still nowhere near the top of the league.
