Multiple debts. Multiple debtors. No agreement among the debtors to sell their debt for a % of its worth. And more to the point, no-one trying to buy their debt cheap in the expectation of making money on it.

You are quite right that Evans has bought the debt to make money. That money can only come by extracting it from Piswich. Exactly HOW he intends to get the scum into position to pay him off I do not know, but presumably he hopes to get them promoted and then take the Sky cash to pay himself off rather than invest it in the team.
