Mixup in last year's FA Cup with King's Lynn IIRC

Quote BBC:

"And so to the draw on BBC TV.

Trevor Brooking was calling out the numbers and when King's Lynn's number came out (or so we thought) he mentioned that his old team-mate Tommy Taylor would be having another home tie against Lewes.

Later on though, Lynn's name was called out again so confusion descended but somehow they ended up with an away tie at either Dover or Bishop's Stortford.

Surely, if any team name is called out twice then the draw should be halted and a re-draw made?

No, the FA say there is no right of appeal - a decision that could cost Lynn thousands of pounds as it was rumoured that they could be in line for a televised game in the first round.

A sad end to the day, but we must not forget the performance on the pitch and all the players can stand proud."
