You will get your stake back on the single bet on this horse
then it works as a normal double or treble etc. if you get a 2/1 winner in a double with a non runner and put a 50p stake on it you would get £1.50 back. So in a lucky 31 you would get the £1.50 single and £1.50 double and so on
