New era for Town after takeover

A BILLIONAIRE businessman is set to become the new owner of Ipswich Town, transforming its finances to the tune of £44million. It was announced yesterday that Marcus Evans will be buying the club, wiping out £32 million of debt and investing a further £12 million.
