People with different cultures say things

which have different, subtly changed meanings to the way we percieve them. It neither makes them ignorant nor dangerous - just different. To those who can't understand that - who is ignorant here ?
Incidentally, I took David round the country for 2 weeks on his very first visit here. He is quiet, respectful, and fanatical about NCFC on whom he spends all his spare time and cash. I tried the 'let's visit the touristy / culture spots', and he was as disinterested then as he probably is today. It is not his thing.
