Been an avid reader of your blog and following your posts on here since Grant's departure with great interest. Like most on here, I agree with 99% of what you say.

However, I do think it's premature to write off Jewell. Yes, your email to that chap at Wigan rules out that particular gem - but doesn't take into account the fact that Jewell's taken time out of his holiday to have two telephone interviews with our board - something you surely don't do if you're not interested.

Secondly there's the chap on Radio Norfolk; supposedly Jewell's best friend. I've heard this little link, and he's said it's a strong possibility - that Jewell likes the club, it's ideals and youth set up. This is pretty hard to ignore - and is much more definite than simply being told Jewell's interest is "highly unlikely".

Like any NCFC fan I remain totally oblivious as to who it's going to be. Early this morning I was convinced it was Jewell; then Martin Allen later this afternoon. Now I'm simply sick to the back teeth of this constant pointless speculation. One things for sure; you can't rule out anyone.
