THE RULES:

1. 'Pirate' refers to High Sea pirates, not software pirates or any other kind of pirate.
2. It's normal, 11-a-side football, except everyone has to play dressed as a pirate. Players whose pirate beards, eye-patches or head-dresses come off are suspended from the match for five minutes.
3. Players with hooks for hands are prohibited from playing in goal. Players with wooden legs are welcome.
4. Teams who arrive in a proper, working pirate ship are given a one-goal head start.
