martin, jarvises, spillane... even smart from the little I've seen... nearly every player who has come through recently (by that i of course mean playing in meaningless cups and when we're desperate) is comfortable on the ball, and looks to bring others into play. so why are the 'first teamers' on 8k a week unable to do so?

I'm not one to say, 'we're s**t, play the kids'. But to be honest the kids showed them up tonight. And when they came on with 9 men on saturday we were actually better than when we had 11.

Something to prove perhaps?
