... there's plenty of artists (Billy Bragg in particular) where I see what they are trying to achieve, and agree with it, but just don't like the music. Horses for courses, intut?

That said, I'd recommend hearing the live version of 'Houses in Motion' on YouTube before you give up entirely on TH, though ...
