Talking of female pop-stars playing at Wemberlee ... I was on the tube many years ago and it was packed solid. A couple of middle-aged cockernee types were chatting loudly nearby and one said to the other "fackin' 'ell, mate, it's packed!"; the other replied: "it's that Madonna; playing up at Wemberly. My daughter's going - 25 quid a ticket, can you believe?". Cockernee 1 responds, "25 knicker! I would shag her for that!" Whole carriage erupts in a laughter ...
