What gets me is that in February Knapper is saying that all is going

according to plan and two months later he sacks the guy.

Knapper knew he was getting an inexperienced manager and it was his responsibility to mentor the guy when things started going awry which he clearly didn't do, or was incapable of doing.

For me Knapper doesn't come out of this well at all.
