Those who think Russell Martin is the man for the job, why?

What am I missing?

Four mid table finishes at MK Dons and Swansea, promotion at Saints, yes, but an excellent squad of players for the league and 4th was hardly overachieving.

This season his style of play, that he would not deviate from, was hopeless and had he not been sacked, they’d probably have been the worst PL side ever.

Why on earth would we want him? Wagner had a better track record - might as well have kept him if that’s where we’re heading.
