I can see why they've had to do that but i do feel sorry for JHT

Perhaps just the wrong time with the wrong squad for him this season. He's lost his way in the last few weeks and it has all become a but of a mess. However, earlier in the season I could see what he was trying to do and felt we were heading in the right direction and I feel he's been the victim of an unfortunate set of circumstances with the squad and other factors.

More than anything I think he's been let down by Knapper and co in terms of certain areas of the squad which have undermined a lot of the good stuff that was happening. In particular with the goal keepers. the failure to have an adequate back up has cost us a lot of points this season and lost us momentum at key moments. As did the fat we had no back up striker and no pace on the wings.

I really don't know whether the injuries/player load/Jurasek type stuff was coming from Thorup or he was being forced not to play players at certain times. it will be interesting to see how that develops.
