Really hard to judge a player from performance in Scottish league

I think we all realise that.

Maddison turned out superbly well. Kenny has been decent. Then I think we need to go back a long way to find a talent from Scotland (or who was showing talent in the Scottish leagues) and became effective for us.

I mean, Hooper was alright but nowhere near the goal machine he was in Scotland - fans crying out for him to be in the England squad etc. And as for McGrandles and Andreu, well.....

And funnily enough, Pukki was slaughtered for his performances in Scotland.
