But I think all commentary is still totally missing the point. Everyone seems to think that Trump is trying to "achieve something". It's just that we can't quite work out what it is. I honestly think he isnt.

I still think every single thing he does has nothing to do with achieving anything. It's just a distraction, while he is running the US like a crime family, skimming and milking every penny he can.

His gutting of the SEC is clearly intended to allow all him, his family and his buddies to run outrageous frauds (which will rip off ordinary people) without any risk of investigation.

I could tell you about the suspension of the Corporate Transparency Act, which previously required you to report the beneficial owner of any company.

I can't think of a single legitimate reason why it would be necessary to obscure who actually owns and benefits from a company, and it is in breach of globally accepted minimum standards to prevent money laundering. I believe Donny has done it so foreign nationals and states can simply pay bribes to him, his family, and other would be scam artists.

Or I could tell you about the effective abolition of legislation that prohibits US individuals and firms from paying bribes abroad, opening the door for the US to be an active agent of corruption rather than acting against it. Need to give a million bucks to some local planning official in some s**t hole place to permit your new hotel? Or to block some rival opening one? No problem.

The truth will probably never emerge, but dont tell me for a moment that the Trump clan and cronies are not insider trading on a regular basis every time he makes some utterly wild announcement. This will tank the market, go short. This will boost the market, go long.

There is SO much fraud, so much of it so brazenly conducted out in the open, it is hard to comprehend. I honestly think he is provoking global conflict to drown this out, so he can keep on making as much bent money as he can. (I havent even mentioned Musk gutting the agency that is investigating his car company - the car company with the worst accident record of any brand. User Posted Link
