Match tickets for over 65s

SO, I have a club membership number and tickets for Sunderland (h) are now available to anyone.

So, I need one adult and one 65+ ticket but the ticket website will only let me buy two full adult ones. The 65+ supporter also has a membership number, which I quoted (and the system recognised him). But I also tried buying, without identifying him specifically.

True, there are not many tickets left, but he and I are happy to sit a bit apart from one another. I tried all the various stands with no luck.

In the past, at the pay/checkout stage its been possible to convert one of the tickets to a 65+, but for this match, I can't make that happen.

I scoured the website for specific info about 65+ tickets, but there seems no section dealing with it.

Are there some matches for which 65+ tickets can't be bought ? Regards.
