the exact opposite advice as for HP. If you are then looking at purchasing at the end of the PCP look at the quoted purchase price at the end of the term and plop some monthly wad into a cash ISA per month for the duration of the PCP.
If you're going for another Merc their service plan is pretty reasonable and you get the full road and home recovery thrown in - something I had to use a few times with my first Merc when the electronic handbreak kept locking on.
