it's such a great comfort to know we can happily just bob along in the championship
without having to worry about anything tiresome like winning bloody gaudy trophies and playing in europe or bagging a massive slice of global tv and media revenue which is going to increase by a paltry £6.5bn over the next three years and all that will bring a massive tailwind of other income and that's just overseas income it doesn't include the domestic market which is a similarly meagre £6.7bn.
i mean what would we do with a boat load of cash anyway, spend it on something insane like better footballers or better facilities for the fans? why on earth would we want to take advantage of value creation? it's not as if there is a finite number of premier league clubs.
