going via Lincoln is not the worst route but....

there is a route that takes you through Horncastle via some B roads and across the lincolnshire wolds which is a lot quieter and shorter you end up rejoining the A road next to Humberside airport ,the last few miles are on a single track c road .... as i said if you know the route you know the route
