🗣 Johannes Hoff Thorup's pre-Swansea City press conference will take place at 1.30pm this afternoon.

JHT on team news: “That is the case (same team available). We’ve got to test Jose (Cordoba) to see if he’s available for tomorrow, but that will just be for the bench.”
JHT on Josh Sargent: “I said a few days ago, he would start one of the next games. We are now down to one game left. He is in a good place after the last few games. I will consider him as a starter.”
JHT on Josh Sargent: “I will tell him to have a shot on target.”
*Gave Forsyth is expected back in training next week (Tuesday or Wednesday).
They are unsure when Liam Gibbs will be back in team training.
Amankwah Forson still has a swollen knee. He had some blood taken out of it. JHT says they’ll ’take it day by day.’
Marcelino Nunez is expected to be back in training after the Watford game.
JHT ‘hopes’ he might be available against Derby County.
Anis Ben Slimane is expected to be back in training next week.
JHT: “When you have the busy schedule like we’ve had this week. It’s even more down to us to focus on our rhythm.”
JHT on Swansea: “It could be a tricky one. They like to dominate possession and build-up from the back like us. We know they can also be more direct in their approach. We are prepared for both.”
JHT on Kellen Fisher: “I prefer him as a right back. He recognises well in the moments when he can join the attack. That’s his preferred position and that will be the case.”
JHT on Oscar Schwartau: “I don’t think it’s ideal (played multiple positions). It’s sometimes beneficial when they can step out and breathe. But because of the situation they’ve had to play more than expected. We have to try limit maximum of two positions they can play.”
JHT on Ante Crnac: “The ideal plan for him as a young guy is two games as a starter and one game as a sub. When he’s constantly playing we have to think about his load management, so he’s not training enough. It’s not an ideal situation.”
JHT on Ante Crnac: “He now has experience in the league. When he arrived he said everything is so much faster here. From the start of next season we hope he will be even better. I still expect there will be games when he struggles.”
JHT on Onel Hernandez: “I think for him to be even better he needs to develop more end product when he is a starter. But he’s been even better when he’s been coming on as a sub.”
JHT on attacking issues: “It’s more collectively, they need to use each other to create the opportunities. We are not sharp enough there.”
JHT: “In every situation we should have three (attacking) options, so the opposition cannot predict it (what they are going to do).”
JHT on transfer window: “Quiet. What time is it now? I have a meeting with Ben (Knapper) that starts in 10 minutes. Does it mean that the rest of the window will be quiet for us? It depends if we can bring the right player in now. I promise I will be present in the meeting (with Ben).”
