We had our first choice strike force out for 4 plus months last season
Rowe out for long periods as well, and Saimz wasn't consistent as he has been first part of this season. Yes it was a good starting 11, but the general think was always we didn't have strength in depth last year. And despite all the Wagner basking, we were one game from Wembley. Last season the Chinos was far stronger than this year.
We can't continue to blame Wagner and Webber - we have spent significant money this year on young lads from abroad that we hope will come good. We could have purchased a few championship seasoned players instead, but the strategy is to develop youth. That is ok this sporting director, no one else
