I want to take this opportunity to apologize unreservedly for my actions during the recent match. Spitting at an opponent is completely unacceptable and goes against everything I believe in as a professional footballer.

I take full responsibility for my actions and accept the six-match suspension handed to me by the FA. I deeply regret my behavior and the example it sets, particularly for younger fans who look up to players.

This incident does not reflect who I am, on or off the pitch. I will work hard to ensure nothing like this happens again and to regain the trust of my teammates, coaches, fans, and everyone associated with Norwich City.
