Really liked the stuff the club put out on Slimane saying the reason for doing the deal now is to settle his future, help him and his family feel at home in Norfolk and get the most from him. Nice holistic thinking and also brokers more connection with fans.

I thought it was weird the stuff Sheffield Utd fans were saying about the price for him being great (£1.2m!) and they are making a profit. I thought they bought him for £3.5m but transfermarkt says €2.7m but either way that isn't a profit (unless they mean profit on his amortized value which I can't work out without his contract length but still seems unlikely).
