my take on it is that the UK is the one of the few countries where a party sympathetic to Trump is not on the rise - the "landslide" in July means that Starmer's government will even outlast Trump's. So Musk is doing all he can, clearly with Trump's support, to do all he can to undermine the UK govt in the misguided hope it might force a crisis which will lead to an election in which Reform will win considerably more seats than they did in July and then hold the balance of power in a coalition government.
