I switched after driving them hundreds of miles on holiday in North America

I don't drive any more but every car I got after that was an auto, ending with Audi A3s with adaptive cruise control, brilliant for dealing with all the roadworks between Southampton and Norwich. With other bells and whistles it almost drove itself.

Much more relaxing than manual. I used to regularly drive from Southampton to Leicester for work, heavy traffic, often start stop on the A34, very easy.
