I agree that there are grounds for optimism

but maintain that we are, objectively, a mid table team.

We're half way through the season and sit mid-table. Every team's supporters will feel they should be higher in the table due to bad luck/injuries/bad refereeing etc.

I do think we are moving in the right direction but, right now, we are not a promotion ready team.
