I can tell a Massey from a John Deere at 500 yards
Inheritance tax changes will affect fewer than 500 farms a year and they're not the little ones. So I have less sympathy than my rural roots might suggest. If anything it might encourage earlier transfer of assets which might result in more innovation earlier on some farms, who can say?
