As I said yesterday they have been amazing owners.

I think they far surpassed the success we should have had when you look at the resources we had.

My feeling is history will be kind to them because the present is kind, which is extremely rare for any owner.

Having even a modicum of success as non super rich owners is unheard of.

To be fair to the critics the current model probably has a ceiling of success.
Being a top 26 club is a realistic goal and some of us were ok with the realism of being a yo-yo club.

It's a huge risk taking on non-fan owners.
To be fair the club looks to have done due diligence and brought in a steady hand.
The problem is if the risk and huge investment isn't there, the expectation of being better than a top 26 club is unlikely unless we can catch lightening in a bottle.
The issue becomes during the inevitable down times.
Will the new owners asset strip to pay off debts to the point we become uncompetitive even in the champs.
Who knows?

Today is about Delia and Michael.
Fans first and foremost.
We overuse this term but..
