----------------------------------------------------------------

JHT on Cordoba going off with Panama: “There is a decision to be made. We need to see him tomorrow and if he can play. It’s a call for after the game.”

*Barnes will be in a boot for three weeks (on week two now), then he will be back on the grass. JHT reaffirms he’ll need time to get back into shape.*

JHT on team news: “Yeah. I think there are concerns. That’s what happens when you play a three game week. They will be tired and have to push the body to their limit. We will make changes and in-game changes earlier tomortow.”

JHT: “The load is more a mental load, where we have to feed them with the most important information. There is more work done in the analysis room. There is a great belief around the group at the moment.”

JHT on Marcondes: “It’s fair to say and I think that’s the best indication I can give you. Something needs to be official before we can talk about it (whether he’s available tomorrow).”

JHT on Marcondes: “He will give us options as he can play multiple positions. He will also add some quality to the training and his personality is that he loves to train. We sometimes have to even pull him in from training.”

JHT on free agents: “It’s not a market that’s interesting to us. We done a great job in the summer transfer market. We only talk about this now because of injuries.”

JHT on Long contract: “He’s taken some steps and week to week improving. He’s great for the environment and he pushes to be the starter. His professionalism and the way he supports the guys everybody can see and creates value to us.”

JHT on Hull: “Three wins in a row and in great form. I think this game will be most different to the other teams we’ve played. They have a different way of building the game, so we need to be front footed and concentrated.”

JHT: “I’ve been sitting here for weeks and saying it will take time. I and we still have an obligation to perform each week. I still have the ambition now that this team can be even better.”

JHT: “We like to give the fans another great experience and another win tomorrow. I think with a win it will have been a good period.”

JHT on international breaks: “There is a lot. I don’t think it’s that important to talk about as we cannot affect it.”

JHT on mental health awareness: “It’s fantastic and speaks volumes about the club we are. It’s important as the club in the region we take responsibility with initiatives away from football.”

JHT on first team coach search: “We are down to a couple of candidates and we started with a few more. We are getting close and I saw some media stories on one of the candidates. We took a decision to narrow it down to two.”

JHT on Abu Kamara: “It’s always a bit tricky when players return. I hope he will be shown respect. I always wish the best for the players who have been here, but maybe not tomorrow. He’s off to the start where he needs to find his position in the group.”
