Well the problem is not CB

If we move Doyle back inside, which is fine in itself, don't forget that we have no left back with Chrisene injured, so then we have to put Fisher there and Stacey on the right. Much of our recent upturn has, I feel, been to do with the ability of Doyle and Fisher to join midfield in possession. Stacey doesn't do this, and while people get very excited at Stacey bombing up the wing his crossing leaves a lot to be desired and it more often results in him being isolated while we get attacked down our right (see the Leeds goal) than it does in a goal from a Stacey cross.

Fisher and Doyle have been immense coming into the midfield as well as defensively, so that's why I feel it's not only about Cordoba vs Doyle, but rather not wanting to also move Fisher and Doyle at fullback
