They deserved that win. In a way i'm glad we didn't get away with another reckless batting
display. Perhaps they will learn, perhaps they won't but I thought the way we batted in this match in particular was reckless and unprofessional and we won't beat decent sides regularly until we can stop chucking away good platforms by giving our wickets away so cheaply at key moments.
I love the "positive" and aggressive way we generally play but sometimes they seem to cross the line - it cost us a test or two in the Ashes as well.
Not sure about Pope as a captain either.
All that said we won 2-1 and won both series so overall a good summer.
