To be pedantic, your smart meter is probably drawing from the mains to tell.you how much you are using.

If you have skybox, broadband router, etc. etc. plugged in, even on standby, you are gonna be drawing energy for all of those. Do you have a console plugged in?

And 40-something pence a day will be your standing charge too.

My leccy is about £40 at the moment but I have solar that provides a lot of my power (not today, too grey)

I'd guess it is more than just your fridge tho...
