My advice if looking to do excursions is to do some searches on youtube for videos to give you an idea of what to expect.

One tip for the best view of the Hubbard glacier is the Heli pad.
Normally they don't allow people up there as its a staff only area but we managed to wangle it by asking some questions to the right people.
Give it a try.

Another big money saving tip on Celebrity is that if you are "actively playing" in the casino they will give you free drinks.
Its well-known you can sit at the cheapest slot machine (just put money in but don't push the button!) and hardly play waiting for a server to come around.
If the casino is open before dinner you each can grab a free drink in the casino and take it to dinner with you.
FWIW unless you are a mega drinker don't get the drinks package. Thats a big mistake first time cruisers make.
