Him wanting to ditch them is a bit weird

Guess he didn't like Clemente? But Clemente seemed to want him to stay, so still a bit strange.

Particularly odd in that he didn't seem to have anything better lined up. Blackburn won't be any easier than Rangers, although perhaps difficult in a different way.

At some point, he's got to get his head down and commit to slogging it out even if it gets tough. Well, I suppose he doesn't have to, but he does if he wants to have a successful career and a chance to achieve whatever his potential might be.
