Aviva tried that s**t with me with car and home, now with Churchill for both but they'll doubtless try that s**t next year so I will change again. The insurance companies show you no loyalty; you owe them none in return. It's genuinely the case that costs are rising for them but not to the level of the increases they tried to press on me.
I avoid any company I haven't heard of (there's always these internet only places that will do it for 10p and a packet of Spangles but if you ever did have to claim would you want to rely on them?).
