Err no.

If that was the case Blackburn and Sheffield United would have put us to the sword. Tonight we played well, good possession and a young side against a Palace team which are decent, any Premier League team these days is a massive step up. If we had played a full strength side would we have lost 4-0?

For the first time in years we now have proper direction and an understanding of building an affordable but talented squad that will bring success. The last promotion to the prem revealed that the football world had moved on from “sensibly run club's” Delia and co were seriously out of date. If we done what Forest or Ipswich are doing and gone down we would have been finished, administration, points deductions, the lot.
Attanasio won’t ever spend big. I like baseball and Attanasio has managed the Brewers brilliantly. Picking very talented, young players like Christian Yelich in smart trades. When they sell to the “bigger” teams they always get a good haul of younger players in return. They play very entertaining baseball too. He has the right approach for Norwich.
So grumble away if you wish, grumble away that Chase didn’t spend and sold Sutton. Grumble away that Emi was sold. Or look at what is happening here.
