One for baseball fans - odd events at Boston

- game with Toronto suspended several weeks ago due to rain, resumed today in the top of the 2nd innings, a rule introduced during Covid and kept
-Danny Jansen who was in the middle of an at bat when the rain came was traded from Toronto to Boston in the interim
-Jansen is a catcher and was catching the resumed game with another player pinch hitting for him
- Jansen appears in the box score on both teams
- that player struck out but the player who had been on 1st base for 2 month stole 2nd.

Both sides have had to make three changes in the line up due to players being traded in the interim and the official date of the game is the original June one, so there are players who have made their major league debuts since the game was suspended who will now have this as their official debut and potentially first hit, first run batted in etc.

I can't think of any other sport that any of this will happen. Players can play against their previous team in football in return fixtures if transferred but not in eg a Cup replay. I suppose it could happen if a match is abandoned and replayed, but that is not a continuation of the same game.
