If it works (and then works again, for a couple more seasons) then in 2/3 years they'll be in the same boat as Wolves now and have to sell players to balance the books.
Not sure how the financial rules would work between the PL / Champs if they come down, but presumably they would have to sell to remain compliant (see Leeds this summer, as an example).
Either way, the chances are that within 5-10 years max (I expect they, Leicester and Southampton will all come straight back down though) they will be back down in the Champs and having to cut their cloth accordingly.
