All about the narrative - but we weren't good.

It's ok because it's early days with new and young players.

It all needs time and encouragement.

But it was pretty Wagneresque fare really, with a signature 20 minute burst of cohesion.

Forson quiet, Forsyth and Chrisene overwhelmed and the usual suspects did absolutely usual things.

I'm still excited to see how it all plays out and there is no rush.

But I'm not buying the line that we saw progress today at all, other than vital minutes for players we'd rather see on the pitch than Hanley, Fassnacht, Gibbs etc.

Onwards and (eventually) upwards.
