Who cares
The prem is so different from last time they were in it that they have no clue. I actually think they’ve done a good job over the summer - building a very good championship squad. If they do squeak survival they’ll be delighted but much more likely they will come straight back and they’re already building the squad they’ll want for a strong finish the season after. I think that’s the right strategy. McK will likely be off at some point in the next twelve months whatever happens.
Form is temporary class is permanent. We’ll be back ahead of them soon enough. They’ve had a s**t few decades so let them enjoy watching the proper players come to their place for a season and understand the real prem experience and why so many fans outside the top six clubs don’t like it that much. A lot of their fans won’t ever have been to the big grounds so that will be a nice novelty for them. Guaranteed most of them will be wondering why anyone wants to get to the prem much like many of us do in time!
