Good post agree. I was so frustrated at the game on Saturday

And I think the reaction of the away end shows its a frustration shared by most. And it wasn't just you usual "we've been a bit sh*t today" reaction at the end of that game. It was a "nothing has changed and we've had enough" reaction.

Some may say that's impatient (it probably is) and it also isn't Thorups fault but I was hugely deflated from the moment I saw the team sheet. I'd been looking forward to the game as the start of a new era, a bit of a fresh start but the moment I saw that 11 it was the same old faces and predictably they turned out the same old sh*te or in fact a whole new level of sh*te that managed to combine the usual errors and inadequacies with possible teething problems from playing slightly differently.

This club has been damaged by the last 3 seasons (and the prem capaign before that). The supporter/club relationship is strained and the fans are close to breaking point at any time. Thorup probably is not aware of that sort of detail as why would you be as an outsider. But we need something to grab onto and to believe in. He needs to be bold. He needs to play the youngsters and if he does he will find the fans will be more patient because at least they will be able to see that we are working towards something.

I do not ever want to see Hanley and Duffy in the starting 11 again.

I agree Doyle is a centre back.

Why oh why will this club not sign a f**King defensive midfielder. It is utterly ridiculous.
