No, it isn’t. I’m expecting this season to be a significant step below last season. Football is a money game. So much analysis shows that the points you get correlate pretty well with the money you spend. And we’ve done our money now, wazzed against a wall over the last two seasons. We’re going to have a very mid table budget and I expect the squad, performances and results to reflect that.

This means the current decision makers need to produce another Lambert miracle, and that’s really hard. Im prepared, settling in for a long period of mediocrity. Hope I’m totally wrong of course.
