hmmm - team vs starting 11

Fassnacht looked like he could be a solid player for us imo - and while we shouldn;t be going into the season with him as a nailed on starter, I think given the right coaching and a run of games he could be a surprise package for us.

Barnes has shown himself to be a useful member of the squad tactically. We're really short of forwards and so Sarge/Barnes/Idah "need a hand" and should be someone who will challenge them for a starting berth.

Onel is one of those handy players to have in the squad - if he's costing a lot of money then yeah, you might want to move him on, but we need a mix of experience and up and coming talent (Kamara) in the squad/on the bench.

I was just meaning, if you compare our options in advanced midfield vs our options for holding midfield, it's obvious where the work needs to go.

It'll be interesting to see who emerges in the new regime - I'd not have put money on Rowe or Stacey pulling up trees last year... there's always players who kick on, that you don't expect.
